DIRECTIONS: From New Orleans or Mandeville; take Hwy 190 (N. Causeway Blvd.) to I-12, go west on I-12 to the second exit - which is the Hwy 1077/Madisonville/Goodbee exit, turn right and go a short distance on Hwy 1077 to the first red light – which is Hwy 1085, turn left onto Hwy 1085 and travel 2 1/2 miles to Bedico Creek subdivision on the right.

Within the garden home neighborhood of Bedico Creek there are two areas to choose from. One for traditionally designed garden homes, offering windows on both sides of the house with the focused view oriented out to the huge areas of green space behind the home. The other area is designed for courtyard style garden homes, with windows on only one side of the house and the interior view focused out to a private courtyard.

Over the last 10 years, Martin Murphy and Gary Salathe of Alternative Design/Build Group, LLC, have focused and developed an expertise in designing and building garden homes. The company was selected by the late Archbishop Philip Hannan in 2003 as the exclusive builder for his development, Terra Mariae, (an age restricted garden home subdivision located north of Covington) where they spent three years building out Phase I of the development.

The company also has designed and built garden homes in Countryside Gardens subdivision, where it currently has more home-sites available for development in garden home living.
